I had some great mother daughter bonding time today,
and not to mention, i saw the whole world in town.

I managed to catch Princess and the Frog!
HAHAHA the animation was reallly good.

Went to Lido(again)! And saw Rachz and Ry, haha it was really quite funny. We were talking, and this girl walked past, and i was like HEY THAT'S NICOLE MAO.

met the whole TNG there la srsly(:

After the movie we went for lunch. yum yum.

Then we went to taka to show them my student pass, which should never be exposed to light.
And we saw my auntie's parents there.

After that we went to check out 313! In Forever 21 I saw Emily, and in Zara I saw Laura Kwan.
HAHA.

CottonOn sale was SO GOOD. But the crowd was just not worth it. =/ ick i hate crowds.
Then on the way back I saw Julvian! HAHAA.

I was so amused.

My mum found her ex schoolmates in Dome too.
It was hilarious.

And at fishing, they got like some giant 5 kg fish. reeks like baaaadly.

I wish I could go carolling. ):

It is amazing how easy it is to spot Singaporeans in another country.
Just look for the mannerisms first, something about the way we walk.
Okay maybe just in Perth, it was SOOOOO easy to nitpick Singaporeans.

Simply walk down the street, and let that refined, accent sink in. Don't even need to listen carefully, the volume and pitch just define it all. Simple as that.

Oh and Perth just made me realise how much we take hawker food for granted.
So cheap so good. Ta, you can't even get a cuppa coffee in Aussie for $3.

Okay, now for the more serious stuff i've been meaning to post for a long time, and now that I just discovered Downhere, their song 'How Many Kings' ties in just fine with the message.

So, we all know the story of how Jesus came down and sacrificed himself for us. We know that this is all part of God's plan to deliver his children from the kingdom of darkness right? Well, okay I've been thinking about it, and this is just my view on the whole thing, but I got these ideas during devotion, just to let you know.

Why did God have to sacrifice Jesus? His one and ONLY son?

Well, I'm thinking that He did that to show the whole world the extent of His love for us, He did this to show us the true meaning of sacrifice. I mean think about it, this is GOD. Almighty God who created heaven and earth. He could have easily snapped His fingers and made another son.

He could have created an entire army of Jesus(es). But why did He send his ONLY son for us?
God loves us as much as he loved Jesus. If John 3:16 had been "God gave one of His sons" instead of "God gave His one and only son", how many of us would say, WOW. God did this just for ME.
God, I think, did this, to teach us the meaning of sacrifice. Look at us, little unnecessary things like the computer, or chocolate. Ask you to sacrifice these things, no way right?

What more a son? God willingly sacrificed Jesus for us. He knew the flogging and the humiliation that was going to be inflicted on Jesus. He knew all that was to come, and yet, He sent Jesus to save us all the same.

I seem to be experiencing God in a quieter way, not like I usually do during worship, but instead alone, at night during devotion. Its more personal in a sense, but this just shows me how much God can and wants to speak to me.
