I spent the most wonderful day with my mum yesterday,
it truly felt like JUNE.

Free.
For once in the longest time.
I didn't even post about fiesta and all this busy-ness before have i?
Geez i haven't picked up a book in ages,
and i finished 3 in the capacity of 3 days, = a book a day.

Hahaha, i've really never been more happy and free.
no fiesta, no council, (not yet at least, there's next week)
but for once it felt like a break.

On saturday morning was mum's birthday and we went to town to catch IRON MAN.
Yes the best time to catch a movie is after everyone has seen it.
And there's no crowd to get tickets.
We went to Cathay, and beacuse of my aunt's movie passes, we got free tickets (Y)

great morning, great movie, the weather was so JUNE-ish all day

then we went to take a walk to 1 Caramel @ handy road.
Quaint place, didn't feel like Singapore, if you catch my drift.

Nice big windows to people watch, marzipan cakes on display, place smelt like coffee and goodness.
I was too busy taking everything in, I couldn't be bothered with pictures.
Menu described so many desserts you never even imagined.

Rasberry and dark chocolate truffle.
YUMZ.

But anyway i had a plain simple pizza. Small, filling, FRESH.
I don't like tomatoes, don't eat them, but the ones on this were OO:

and then I had this chocolate berry ice blend, it was so good,
the taste of chocolate that concluded with a tangy sour, berry taste.
It didn't get old, it quenched thirst, and it was BRILLIANT.

The furnishing and the crockery were SWEEEEEEEEET, as were the macarons.

Of the year.

Fiesta and exams and council seem to be eons away.
I'm going to embrace these holidays.
So surreal.

I half regret not posting and updating because as much as i hate to admit it,
i'm happiest when i'm stressed.
:)

Fiesta was crazy! i got a nice tan out of it though.

SL surprise - I wish it didn't rain! ):
Shifts were boring but they left me be.
I survived a 3/3 game show was a success (Y)!

Viking (: hee hee and candy floss hair.
The best.
Wish i had time for pics but i'm going off to burn some fat zoon.

Had movie screening in church today.
HAHAH so old school and funny.

Speecho was okay, with the primary school kids, wished Mrs Geetha happy birthday,
and proceeded with impromptu speech.

Ehhhm, and when i went with council to sell fiesta tickets, we went to eat primary school food.
NOMZ as ever. and cheap not to mention.
HAHAH.

And i've been shopping.
WHOO!


Yeah but amidst all this i've been having tons of downs, but picked up after fiesta,
perhaps my social life isn't going down the drain as i pictured/

Certainly dirfted away from some of my pals,
but i've made new friends, grown closer to others, and continued strengthening the ones who were with me all the while.

so, life's good.
All by God's grace, though I seem to have been neglecting my spiritual life, I know he's behind it all.

I'm more tranquil and at peace. HEH.

Oh cluster was...
well i expected better, but at least JW came, and it was as if we never lost him.
Flew kites, which was quite funny.

CERT- got to ride on the red rhino,
watched shrek after Fang's surprise. Yummy swensen's ice cream cake.



Will be attending SLC this week. Monday's dedicated to devising Hide & Seek with Nai,
i have hope!
And i have a good feeling this dance will be the saving grace of this ensemble, as if its not already in pieces.

This can't go on btw.

HI! Taking a break from studying SOVA and AMath nao.
just to post a belated mother's day message.
(AHAHA I got one Happy Mother's Day msg myself)
Gosh this is my first May post.

Mm anyway, i never realised how remarkable a person my mum is.
Jeez i'm serious, I didn't realise until everyone kept telling me.
Her friend who tutored me said in school she had it all,
Prefect, Basketball captain, Choir, NCC and Chinese dance.
Omg man.

How'd she do all that!
And on top of that teachers in my school still remember her, so yeah
she must have been some kind of omniscientist in her school days.
And now she's got a peaking career, raising her family, being a homemaker and bread winner at the same time
IDK how she does it, and yet she can still find time to maintain a social life(she knows 1000 people, literally ok) and find time for God.
